Fire of God

We hear all the time about people who would rather just be done with their credit card debt and file bankruptcy. Have you ever considered how much of an impact that will have on you down the road?  If you were to go buy a car and a bank sees that you "gave up" on your debts they are going to be much less likely to give you a loan.  Don't file bankruptcy. Take the credit hit and settle your debt. Bankruptcy is a bad tattoo. Debt settlement just skins your knee.
